WHERE EVERY FISH TELLS A STORY
TOP SHELF. WILDLY STRAIGHTFORWARD. WE CATCH IT CLEAN, HANDLE IT WITH CARE, AND DELIVER IT STRAIGHT TO YOUR KITCHEN.
We Catch It Clean. We Say It Straight.
Most brands say the right things and hope you won’t look too closely. We don’t.
We are the most sustainable fishery on earth, and we prove it.
Our fish are caught using Reefnetting, a centuries-old method rooted in Indigenous tradition and practiced today by just 1 fishery in the world. It’s not the fastest or easiest way, but it is the cleanest, most ethical way to harvest wild salmon.
We do it by hand. We do it with intention. Powered by the sun. Guided by tide and timing. That’s not marketing. That’s just the work.
Know Your Fisheries. Trust Every Bite.
We work directly with tribal, local, and independent fishers who share our standards: respect for the fish, respect for the ocean, and respect for the work.
These crews know their waters, understand their seasons, and fish with deep knowledge passed down through generations. It’s a level of care you can taste, and a level of integrity you can trust.
How We Fish: Reefnetting
Reefnetting is a centuries-old fishing method rooted in Indigenous knowledge, and it is the foundation of Lummi Island Wild. It reflects how we believe wild salmon should be treated, with precision, patience, and respect for the fish and the water.
Guided by tide and timing, reefnetting is an intentionally selective way of fishing. Each step is done by hand, with care and restraint, allowing salmon to be harvested at the right moment rather than pushed through at scale. For us, reefnetting isn’t just a method, it’s a commitment to doing things the right way, prioritizing quality, care, and long-term stewardship.
Watch our reefnet crews at work on the water. Guided by tide, timing, and intention.
